HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!! :D
Actually, I don't know why people get so excited about birthdays. Nothing much actually.. Just like a normal day, not like you get wishes that will come true definitely. Anyway, my family celebrated my birthday on Friday since we were going to my Gran's house to stay overnight till Sunday, my birthday. Not really a celebration, just buy a cake, blow candles, eat. Nothing much. But at least this year I get both a cake and ang pow. :D Mom always made us choose, cake or money. We always choose money. Obvious reasons. You would choose that too.
Shall blog about Saturday first, but I'll cut short (again) since I'm kind of rushing for time. I was going to wake up early and finish my homework first, but as you guessed, I didn't. So just lazed in bed till afternoon and my mother was rushing us to pack our bags quickly. Went out and hailed a taxi, the uncle was nice. Joking with us about the taxi fares. Reached my Gran's house in 30minutes and hanged around, watching tv and then going to Gek Poh Shopping Center. Played mahjong when we got back to Gran's house. Playing 10cents and 20cents. I managed to win $1.00 in the end. Hahas. Mom took over after I went to eat my dinner, and she just refused to let me play anymore, so we went down to play candles!
The adults were there mainly for chatting. But they brought curry, chinese tea, mats etc. Even brought medicine for burns, which came useful for me later on. Anyway, auntie, my cousin's maid and my mahjong teacher :D, was hanging lanterns on the tree and playing with us. My two cousins, one same age as me and the other same age as my sis, brought down the flying toy. Played like little kids and my younger cousin was playing
catching with me.. Hahas. Then we tried catching the flying toy like dogs after bones.
Then, I played candles on my own, don't know why but was feeling bored play the other things so just played by myself, enjoying the flame..the heat.Slowly, the younger ones came flocking to me, playing too. I was okay playing with them, until the older ones of the younger ones(hope you get my meaning), burnt paper and plastic, getting on my nerves when I told them to stop but they continued. Slowly, the fire burnt larger and of course, they got scared. Since it was paper that was burning, I just took the stick and moved them around, blowing them when they were seperated. If you're going to ask me why I didn't use my shoe, well, I was playing something like 'campfire' at first, making a flame with all the candles together, so there was a lot of melted wax. Only idiots would stamp on the puddle of hot wax. Well, that was why the medicine came in useful. My dumb brother stamped on it, my hand was beside the puddle, since I was sitting there. So you guessed it, I got burnt, wax covered my finger. ARGH! Hot! I got upset, and went to chat on my phone.
Anyway, I think I'll stop here on Saturday. Now I'll blog on Sunday! MY BIRTHDAY! Anyway, I was watching Crayon ShinChan movie, Action Kamen VS Demon. It's a funny movie. My gran, aunt, uncle and my mom were also watching. Laughing like crazy. Imagine a bunch of adults watching Crayon ShinChan. Hahas. Anyway, we watched from 11.45pm to 1+. Jieda messaged my at 12.04am, being the first to wish me happy birthday. Then slowly, more messaged. Some in the morning and then afternoon. They included, Yining, Liyan, Gaowei, my Sis, Siying, Kokkiong, Kenneth, ZheHuan, Zanita...I can only remember all these. Anyway, went to do homework just now, and we called down
Ms Tan to help us in literature. She scribbled mindmaps on my fullscap. She's clever :D Chatted with us too. Talking about hamsters, cause I brought my syrian down to play too. With Changhee, Kokkiong and Anthony. Hahas, they seemed interested in him except Kokkiong who seemed kinda scared of it. Hahahas. Okays, I'm off to play with candles now. xD I know it's early, Lunar Festival this Tuesday, play eariler nevermind la. :D
